A quick check on that laptop reveals it comes with a 2.5" SSHD. mSATA is something completely different and I'm pretty sure they don't ship a laptop with an empty mSATA slot.
Finding such specific information about laptops is painful so I won't dive into it (manufacturers really don't want to tell you how bad their machines are so they withhold as much information as possible). However, if you do find that there's indeed a free mSATA slot then there's no reason why it wouldn't work. It's pretty much only RAM the manufacturers make incompatible with laptops.

If you actually do install this mSATA drive you'd probably want to install the OS on it as well, since you found it necessary to tell us which OS you already have installed I get...

What is the reason for this upgrade? I suspect it's more pain and headache than it's worth if it's your first time working with a computer (a laptop, at that!).
Just breaking it apart is daunting if you've never opened a laptop before and will take you at least a few hours including reassembly. The chance of loosing a screw or forgetting what goes where is high. Forgetting to reconnect ribboncables is not uncommon and you might have to reopen the laptop again.
Assuming the upgrade goes well you still want to reinstall the OS on the new drive. This part is easy since it pretty much is automatic, but you still have to have a installation medium prepared and you might have to adjust settings in BIOS to make it boot correctly.

So, again, what's the reason for this upgrade?
