I have a i7 4790k and need a gpu and a monitor . i live in the uk and there are a few black friday deals out already! i going to get a freesync monitor for 1440p gaming and one of the above cards. the 8gb is £20 cheaper...does that make it the better deal? thanks

The trend is up and so is the cost (£548.00). But cost to performance doesn't balance it out quite yet. Eventually the Vram addition will level out and stay stable otherwise we will end up with SSD's on the GPU just for Vram. This will cost so much that consumers wont buy them. In 3 generations they have quadrupled the maximum Vram available on GPU's.
