The main difference between a founders edition card and an aftermarket card is the cooler. There are other differences sometimes, such as PCB layout, power delivery etc, but the main thing you will notice is cooling.
I, personally would not buy a founders edition card. They look good in my opinion, but they get their price marked up by Nvidia, they are louder and they run considerably hotter. You usually find founders edition cards running hot enough to thermal throttle. This being when the cards take on less power to make less heat, but can also cut performance significantly.
