Would RAM in slots A2 and B1 still work in Dual Channel?

I have the ASRock FM2A88X PRO3+ ATX FM2+ Motherboard and the A1 RAM slot is blocked by the CPU cooler heatsink (we tried putting RAM in it; the RAM lent slightly to the side and when we turned the PC on it just beeped), so I was wondering if I could get dual channel performance by having 2 RAM sticks in any combination of A2, B1 and/or B2. Thanks!

B1 and B2 would be dual channel. A2 with anything won't.

Looking at the board, it appears that either the 2 blue slots or the 2 black slots are for Dual channel. Not 1 blue and 1 black. So, use both black slots.
Alternatively, you could get some low profile ram sticks

going from experience with motherboards only the 2 blue slots would offer dual channel. usually the off color slots on every motherboard means its for dual channel mode

Really depends on how well the BIOS is programmed, have seen that work in some, not in others
