Pc freezes at bios when i put in new graphics card

I just got a new gpu evga geforce gtx 750ti when i put it in my pc that never had a gpu before it freezes at the bios i cant boot menu or anything all of my components are compatible and i have uninstalled previous drivers but nothing works please help

That is a bad power supply, first issue.

You can try updating the BIOS on the motherboard if there is a newer one available.

But replacing the power supply would likely fix things. If not, you at least will have a good power supply out of it.

If you are tight on money, this is OK to get also, $20 after rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026 CX is the lower models for Corsair but it's a full tier to 1.5 tiers better than what you have now.
