I reasently installed Linux of one of my hard drives on my computer, after trying to boot to my windows 10 drive, nothing happened. it kept trying to boot to my Ubuntu instillation. but when it tried Ubuntu never started it was frozen on a black screen. after removing the Ubuntu drive and trying to boot the Windows again, it said no operating system found.

then after a few attempts at troubleshooting, it never said no operating system found, however it did go straight to bios. every time i tried to boot it did the same thing.

eventually i pulled the old hard drive out of a laptop and put it into the computer and it booted fine. i can even go through the files of the old Windows drive (which rules out drive corruption), but i cannot get it to boot.

is there any possible way i can try to get the Windows 10 drive to boot into Windows 10?

any help is much appreciated

Sounds like an issue with your bootloader. Have you ever set up a dual boot before? Take a look at THIS short guide for some things that you might have missed.
