Evga Gtx 1080 hybrid vs Zotac extreme amp 1080

I know that evga has great customer support and everyone loves there cards. The evga card is also water cooled. Not the ftw version.

The zotac card is the fastest stock boost clock and has 3 fans for cooling.

What should I get, there both similar in price.

the one that looks good to you. performance will be almost identical despite the out of the box clock speeds. boost 3.0 will oc both cards on it's own to it's limits.

so grab the one that looks good to you and enjoy the awesome new experience. they are both solid cards that have reviewed well.

Your decision probably revolves around your case.

The Zotac is going to generate a bit more heat that needs to get out of the case.

The evga liquid cooled card will need a good place to mount the radiator.

All in all, the GTX1080 is such a strong card that I doubt you could tell the difference among any of them.
I would go simple with the FTW version.
Or.. the titan Xp if budget was no concern.

if those are your two choices, i would go with the zotac. im not a fan of watercooling as much (but a lot of people are).

but i do like geofelt's suggestion more . if you can, grab the evga FTW

or honestly the EVGA SC card gives the same fps and uses a lot less power.
