Definitely not the best, but yes, you can run all games with it. You will get 60fps/ultra in most games since you have a nice GPU, but in some CPU bound games you might want to lower the settings to get 60+fps, nothing too big, though.

Yes, that is still a good CPU. You could upgrade it, possibly, to a Xeon 1231v3, if you would like i7 multithreaded performance. That depends on what your CPU can support though.
