My specs:

Ram - vengeance lpx ddr4 2x16gb 3200mhz

Motherboard - z170x-gaming 7

Cpu- core i7 6700k 4ghz

OS - windows 10 pro 64bit

My mother board has 4 slots 2 blacks and 2 reds. I have both cards installed in the red slots. When I go on my pc settings in about it shows "installed ram 16.0gb". Any help is appreciated!

This may sound silly, but try the 2 black slots?

Also, enter the BIOS/UEFI menu (Press F2/DEL on bootup, or whatever it asks for), navigate to the Memory section and look for a "Load XMP" options. Save and quit.

Yes, try using a combination of different slots, hopefully something will work. Then use 1 at a time to see if both modules are functional. Normally if RAM is not recognized the computer would not boot and mobo would beep some error codes.
