Fx-6300 bottleneck with 1060?

Hi I want to upgrade from an r9 270x to a better gpu.
I had in mind to buy a 1060.
These are the two 1060s I had in mind: If you have any other suggestions please tell!

One of the 1060s is superclocked to 1607 Mhz whilst the other is 1500Mhz.

I was wondering; will the fx6300 and 1060 combination bottleneck? And is a 3gb 1060 a good option or should I consider a 4gb 1050?

Yes your FX6300 is going to hold back a GTX1060, but performance would still be better than with your 270x. Never pay extra for a factory overclocked video card. Get the cheaper one. I would not drop all the way down to a 1050, but the RX470 would be a decent choice for a little cheaper than a 3GB 1060.

Hey man I looked at the RX470 and i tis not cheaper than the 3gb 1060, it also reuires a larger PSU. It also has a slower clock than the 1060 so I think I'll go with a 1060.

I guess it depends on where you live. In the US, the 470 is $20-30 cheaper than a 3Gb 1060. It doesn't REALLY require a larger psu and clock speed is not everything. Lets compare the 6GB 1060 to the 8GB 480. The 1060's clock speed is usually around 1.5ghz and the 480's clock speed is usually around 1.1ghz yet performance between the two cards are very very similar with the 1060 only being a very little bit better.
