Odd fps after installing cpu cooler

I had the stock cooler and after upgrading to evo 212 hyper my fps went to 120's to the 60s in bf1. The temps are great but the fps isn't its under / around 50c Please help

I have a gtx 980ti btw

What are you saying man? Don't give up!
That's how you figure out where the problem's coming. Through the process of elimination..
It is very unlikely that your FPS drops, because of a cooler change, with temps being safe...

Sorry i couldn't reply faster thanks. So here is the problem :

Battlefield one had a patch that destroyed the performance on the map Empires edge I used to get around 80- 130 on that map. After the patch i got around 70-40 ON DEATH MATCH which is a smaller portion of the map. Here are 2 different posts about this

So it wasn't the cooler it was the shit patch ! Thanks lakimens !
