Hello,
My power shut down during an upgrade and now I've got a bunch of issues. I have 2 drives, an SSD that had windows 8.1 on it and an empty HDD.
I can not launch windows from my SSD and I cannot recover anything. I tried command promp solutions but my SSD is lacking some important files ( Bcd, mainly it seems ).
When I install Windows 8.1 to my HDD I can run the os on both of my drives with all my files and programs intact, but when I format my HDD again my SSD won't boot windows up.
So I'm guessing that my installation is now spread out over two discs...somehow?
The weirdest thing is that even though I can run windows on 2 seperate drives, it can't find the OS on either when I use "bootrec /ScanOs"
Is there anything I can do to format my HDD again and get all my windows files on my SSD? I notice my pc runs a bit slower ( high SSD usage ), and I also need to install Windows 10 for school by friday.
