My build right now. I built it around 3 years ago and upgraded some tiny things here and there

  • CPU: i5 3570k - Don't know if this needs to be upgraded, probably not right? It's not broken or anything
GPU: AMD RadeonHD 6870 - Broken
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP - Just like the CPU, this ain't broken but I'm not sure if this needs to be updated
RAM: 8 gigs of some cheap ram I bought from some store long ago, works fine (I think) but not sure if it needs to be upgraded as well
HDD: Broken, I'm thinking of switching to maybe SSD's?
Case: Broken, or should I say run down. I can still use it but it looks like crap since it's so old. A cool (if possible) case with nice features would be nice
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 TR-500 500W - Everything other than my card and harddrive works and power is being distributed properly so I think it's safe to assume the PSU is working fine.

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: This week (Before black friday and cyber monday ends)

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Parts Preferences: Anything

Additional Comments: I live in Canada so a GTX 1060 in CAD is quite a bit more when converted from USD, just something to keep in mind. A pretty cool case would be a plus, but I probably can't go for that with this budget haha. The games I'm mostly playing would be: League of Legends, Overwatch, CS:GO, and I would like to have the option to have new games on good settings if possible.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Black friday sales and such and also my graphics card and hard drive broke.
