Do you mean the sticks are rated for 1600 MHz, and you increased the frequency yourself? Or did you buy a 2133 MHz RAM kit, and you enabled XMP and the sticks are now operating at the frequency?
Thanks for the answer everyone. My ram is only rated for 1600mhz. Its adata blue 1.5v CAS 11 ram. In the bios there is a setting that let me change ram speed default only runs at 1333. I raised it to 2133 and it was stable, would not boot at 2400. I tried to lower cas latency timing to 10 and it wold not boot.
Currently I raiesd voltage to 1.53v, and it is now stable with these timings. 10-13-13-35-46. Originally 11-13-13-35-46.
Is this overclock "safe" can it damage the memory controller in cpu? fx 8320 4.8ghz 1.44v.
also should i try to lower other timings besides cas latency timing.
