I plan on trying to build my first PC, I made one in the pass with a friend, this time I'd like to try it on my own. The Motherboard I'd like to go with is MAXIMUS VIII FORMULA. Or the alpha Hero version. But I've got a few questions.

I'd like to get 16gb of memory, but I'm not sure what kind/brand. Here what I found, taking all suggestions that would have the best compatibility for either Motherboard:

CORSAIR Vengeance LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000)

LED part honestly doesn't matter to me much, this was just what I could find with my limited knowledge/ research,

Last question about theses two Motherboards. Any big different's outside of looks/lights that I should now of?

Yeah I was wondering how dirty the Formula would get with having that odd shield over everything. Thinking that the dust would just get under it, maybe even make it hotter and harder to maintain/clean.

I wasn't sure about the ram at all. Didn't want to get something that would work at all. I'll take a look, I seen a nice RipJaws V on Newegg today, that you've mention. I was reading I could go 3200mhz on the memory also if I wanted. What would you recommend for around 80-120$?
