Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5g Thermal Paste ($6.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus SABERTOOTH Z170 S ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($179.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($195.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial MX300 525GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($119.99 @ Newegg)

Case Fan: Corsair CO-9050017-WLED 66.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($13.33 @ OutletPC)
Case Fan: Corsair CO-9050017-WLED 66.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($13.33 @ OutletPC)
Case Fan: Corsair CO-9050017-WLED 66.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($13.33 @ OutletPC)
Total: $2046.97

Approximate Purchase Date: I want to start buying parts now,

Budget Range: I would like to stay at or below 2000 not including monitor, etc

System Usage from Most to Least Important: will be mostly for gaming, heavy flight simulator use, some action cam video processing, Internet

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: will be 100% new system

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com but I'll buy from wherever I can get a deal that's a quality shop

Location: Tracy, CA. About 40 minutes south of Sacramento

Parts Preferences: Intel cpu

Overclocking: unknown at this time but I want the option to

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe in the future

Your Monitor Resolution: I would like to game in 4k

Additional Comments: I will be playing a lot of simulator games. I like games like cities skyline. But also fallout and battlefield.
I want a white pc build with white or blue led. ! Want a window to view the build

And Most Importantly, Why Are You upgrading. Not an upgrade, new build

This is going to be a really nice build :)
The only things i would say are you generally will never need 32GB of RAM, i'd say cut back and only get 16GB (if you can comfortably afford the 32GB go for it but its complete overkill). Get some Corsair SP120's for your CPU coolers Radiator. You can also easily power the system with an EVGA Supernova 750w PSU. These changes will get you back under $2000 and you will see no performance impact.

also the 3000 speed on the memory has almost 0 impact on gaming performance. Even if you keep the 32 GB I'd go with something like the G.Skill 2400 from Newegg and save another 50$

The Red Captain 240EX is only $69.99 with the rebate on Newegg.
