Hello everyone. I bought Acer Aspire E5-572G laptop with 4 GB of RAM (DDR3 800MHz 1.35 V) recently. I am planning to upgrade the same to 8 GB or 12 GB. I installed CPU-Z software which shows 4 slots for RAM with current RAM installed on Slot 3. The motherboard is Acer EA50_HWS V1.09. I checked the internet for maximum RAM size that each slot can support on this motherboard but I am unable to find any answer. Can anyone please help with this because then accordingly I'll order a 4 GB or 8 GB RAM depending on the maximum RAM the slot can support. Thanks in advance.

I would buy memory from Crucial.com for that laptop as they guarantee compatibility, see HERE for details of what it will run, and double check your model to insure that it is correct. It looks like it will take a maximum 2x8GB of the correct memory and buying all the same is best. Click on all the see more tabs to see all the choices. You may get away with adding just one 8GB, but then mixing memory does not always turn out well.
