Is the Core i3 6100 stock cooler any good?

I posted my final parts list with an i3 6100 and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, and many people told me to take out the cooling fan. Is the stock cooler going to be good enough for games like GTA V, Witcher 3, Overwatch, BO3, etc?

Yes, 100% fine. Aftermarket CPU Coolers improve your build's looks and potentially add extra air flow to your system.

it may get hot and noisy with stock but it will be safe, for the pain of installing a new one when the noise bothers you you'd may as well go straight to aftermarket coolers.

Cryorgs are nice too.

If your case has a CPU cut-out on the side panel, it can be installed later without removing the motherboard.

it's a cut out on the backplane that you need, not the case side panels. I'd just do it now, whilst's it's really easy.

The stock cooler is perfectly fine - that's what Intel's warranty is based on. My i5 barely hits 70C under full load on a 35C summer day with its stock HSF.
