My rig is i5 4690k @3.50 Ghz, GTX 960 (2GB VRAM), 8 GB RAM, 2 TB HDD, and as by the title says I have a 600w silver certified PSU. I'm wondering if going from the GTX 960 to the GTX 1070 if it'll be okay.

The GTX 960 requires single 6-pin power cable while 1070 requires at least 1 8-pin cable. check if you have single 8-pin connecter cable that is labelled pci-e. I will also come back to you once i find data sheet on the power supply for you.

Ok i am back, i spent last 10 minutes looking for some information on this however i was unable to find data sheet from which i could reat included connectors. At this point i cannot deny nor confirm whether this will work or not unless you can provide me with information on whether this psu comes with single 8-pin connector at least.
