Hey, i just got a brand new pc. Everything is up and running except for one thing. I have no internet. I decided to save money and not buy a dvd writer. Mistake probably i know. But i believe it could be a lan driver that needs updating? Maybe. So i copied the motherboards cd to a usb. (Gigabyte z170xp-sli) . But i dont know how to access the drivers or get my internet working. Also, if it is not a driver issue, the yellow flashing light on the ethernet port is on so that means theres activity. Thanks all help is appreciated!

I had the same issue. You need the Killer Suite from Gigabyte. If you don't have the disc reader, try to borrow someone who has DVD drive and copy to a usb thumb drive. If that doesn't work, find a library will you can go to www.gigabye.com/us and download the Killer LAN driver from there.
There is no other way around this (I tried). Fortunautely, I had a laptop with a DVD drive and was able to grab it. I would recommend getting a USB DVD drive from amazon which is under $20. It is a real life saver
