this cpu says 3.5ghz/3.9 turbo. How does that work out on this motherboard that does not overclock? Can it run at 3.9ghz turbo all the time?

Solution
The i5 turbos automatically when needed as long as there is thermal headroom. It will work just fine on your motherboard. Turbo and overlocking are not the same thing.

Turbo does not = Overclocking.

Most (all?) Intel CPU's have a turbo feature, allowing the CPU to 'boost' as/when necessary - no overclocking required.

I believe you *can* run at 3.9GHz consistently, but why would you want to? It'll ramp up as/when necessary, and lower it's clock to conserve power when it's not necessary.
