My friend gave me his Acer Aspire E5-575G-57A4 laptop to downgrade to Windows 7. I have tried everything to get these USB drivers to work. I managed to get everything else working BUT the USB ports. They were working perfectly fine before when I was using my USB Flash drive as a bootable drive.
I have tried using Windows Updates, Intel Driver Update utility, downloading various USB controller drivers from various websites, have tried using some automatic driver software solutions, but nothing has worked. The USB 3.0 eXtensible Controller Driver installs, but when I plug in my USB drive, it doesn't recognize it on ANY ports.
I was wondering if anyone could please point me into the right direction as I have been trying to rectify this issue for the past 2 days.
Help would be very much appreciated! Thank you!
