Ok so im wanting to sell my computer so i decided to factory reset it so i go into the settings and click the restore button i did everything it told me to do. Everything was going fine until it hit 66% it then sat there for about 10 minuets and said that the reset failed. So i clicked cancel and it brought me to a menu where i clicked to retry it. And the same thing happened again. So i click cancel and then just clicked to restart the pc so that i could try to do it again from the start but its not letting me it gets to a boot up page and says "An operating system wasn't found." i understand what that is telling me but My mouse and key board are not working for it either so its just stuck at that screen and have no clue what to do because without the keyboard i cant enter the security reset screen.

Is your mouse and keyboard wireless? Need a USB connection for a situation like this.

Also, just do a clean install of the OS. That will accomplish your goal and fix the issue.

Might want to put on a disk imager ala Macrium Reflect or a snapshot tool like RollBack Rx. Reason I mention this is because otherwise you may have another issue before you sell it and need to be able to restore the machine back to working order; and aside from both programs having freeware versions you can always let the buyer know and they can remove it.

They are both wired I tried every single USB slit on the PC. But none of the slots work so I'm not sure how to fix that or do anything.
And how do I install the OS again? If my keyboard was working I think I know how to re install it with the security start up but Im not sure how when none of my USB slots are working.

You might need to get a different keyboard if that one's not working, especially if the USB port and cable aren't the same.
