Hello,
I am building a new workstation PC. By this, I mean video editing in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects work, web development, and a little bit of gaming here and their.
My budget is $1,050 USD at MOST.
What do you think of my build?
I was debating between the i7-6700 and the i7-6700K. If I get the K I am going to overclock. What do you guys think about it?
Right now I have the K version in the build.
What do you think about the GPU choice and just the overall build?
I already have 2 monitors I will be using for a dual monitor setup.
I also already have an SSD and HDD for my drives.
THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE.

You don't need anything more than a 1060, but fortunately I found a great deal on an RX 480. :)
Get the 6700k, only $10 more now, offers a higher base clock and overclocking capabilities.
You forgot storage btw.

This is large gigabyte multimedia files, so the fast storage such as 512 GB samsung 960 pro nvme should be your 1st option, this will be your program file and multimedia file residence.■ 569.99
AE GPU-accelerated ray-traced 3D renderer will use the CUDA cores on all of them, as long as they are of the same CUDA compute level. (See the technical specifications of your GPU for its CUDA compute level.) After Effects will also use all of the VRAM on the installed GPUs, with the caveat that both cards will be treated as if they each have the amount of VRAM on the card with the lesser amount of VRAM. Zotac GTX 1080 for AE 3D ray tracing, premier mercury playback engine, and UHD display gaming.

AE and premier will use all given cores/threads available, however since you mentioned web development which tend to not benefit high cores speed but rather resource amount of CPU cache make Xeon E5 v4 2609 will be better option than i7 6700K concerning of similar price tag.
Comes to US$ 1,050 budget, so #1 scale down to
- crucial MX300 525GB, $124.99 - Western Digital Black 750GB slim mobile HDD, $59. #2 scale to
- Zotac GTX 1060 3GB, $184.99 - Zotac 1050 2GB, $99.99.
Little bit gaming will have to go for i7 6700K, $299.99 + Cooler MAster Hyper 212 EVO, $27.98 as E5 v4 2609 will halve graphic card on gaming.

    ■ 149.99
Gigabyte Z170X Gaming ultra has Intel Alpine Ridge (Thunderbolt 3) chip also use known InternationalRectifier capacitor+VRM+mosfet+choke+integrated controller (later the IR component proven to be best OC). If you won't practicing OC then the basic i7 6700K support motherboard will be
Gigabyte H110M S2H GSM, $58.79 the Gigabyte Stable Module offers two years support and replacement.■ 167.99
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2X16GB DDR4, enlisted almost on all motherboard's QVL. Or choose two Crucial Balistic LT16GB, $80.30. Given video files are large so every available space will make you easily run two to three apps simultaneously.■ 153.99
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 T2 for OC 17 6700K + two nVidia Titan X Pascal, if you choose nVida GTX 1050 then Seasonic 450W Gold, $69.99 will suffice.

Listed price is taken from amazon.com, the sum is $668.06. on highlighted figures. I suggest you put it all together first, and then post your build and we will provide you OC preset and setup, anyway, raising from stock speed to stable highest point is a matter of component choice, one thing for sure, CPU+GPU+VRM will be over heated which require certain tech of cooling, reasonably water cooling.
