I'm having serious problems with my desktop stalling and freezing recently. I keep getting a pop up saying " Powershell not responding". Since my SSD (256) is full I have decided to get a bigger one and reinstall Windows 7. My new SSD is 512gb and I was wondering, how much space should I allocate to the OS? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Windows 7 can easily grow to 15-20 Gb with temp files, page files, etc. However, there are some people who say their windows files total to over or around 50 Gb. I think the generally safe recommended allocation is something like 60 Gb.
