So it's Nov 2016 and my first PC build is now little over 2 years old, and I've been thinking its time for a couple of new parts.

I would really appreciate some of the forum members taking a look at this list of parts and reassuring me that they not only physically fit together, but compliment each other too. About half of this build is 2 years old, but I will be replacing/upgrading my old PSU and Mobo with the ones listed.

Is there any part of this build you would personally avoid purchasing? why?
Can you see any bottle necks or compatibility issues?
How long would this build be capable of running future releases on high graphics?
Is this build fully capable of intense VR gaming?
Is 760 watts a good choice of power for this build?

I hope you understand my caution, as for me this is a reasonable amount of money.

Here's a link to the list of parts as shown on PCPARTPICKER:

Thanks for reading, i look forward to your answers!

Well I don't know if it is a good upgrade from what you alreay have, but this builds looks good to me. One thing, you can save some money on the PSU. Even though people say don't skimp on the PSU, the Platinum is just a bit too much to spend $165 on (sorry, I use a US keyboard). You can do VR with no issues. Also why get two hard drives when you can jsut get 2TB?

Before i chose that PSU in PCpartpicker I was looking at the Corsair CX750M which is £60 cheaper and is still modular.
Do you think that would be a better choice? Here's a link:

My current GPU is a sapphire tri-x R9 290 which I've never been fully impressed with. Also the 3 storage drives are just the ones i happen to have collected over a couple of years :p

thanks
