I'm building my first computer and I'm not terribly confident in my ability to collect the correct parts for what I want to do. I have just about all the parts picked out, I've already purchased a case and now its going to come down to making sure everything is going to work correctly for what I want.
Currently my only computer is a 2011 macbook pro (yes, yes I know) and its been handling streaming alright for the past year but I started saving and decided now was a good time to pull the trigger. What I need my PC to do is stream in 1080 at 60fps while playing games at the same resolution or higher without any hiccups. Granted I also do some graphic design work as well so the trifecta is gaming, streaming, and video/graphics work. This is the build that I've put together myself from what (little) I do know about putting parts together.
CPU: Intel Core i7-6800K 3.4GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X52 Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI X99A Raider ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card
Case: NZXT H440 (Glossy White/Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
A couple notes as far as this goes:
I've already purchased the case (it went on sale for 50$ less so I went for it) and the processor is already purchased as well.
I would like to keep the GPU at a 1070, unless there's some inarguable reason I need to push it up to a 1080 haha.
I'm not necessarily attached to any of these other parts, so if something should be replaced completely (if you could explain why for me) I will probably end up going with that to be honest haha.
Any thoughts and feedback on this are much appreciated, thanks!
