so, I'm going with the g70 gaming and just want to know one thing:

What power phase is it?

Also, if you do know, what is the power phase of the ga-990x gaming sli motherboard, it would be helpful.

Does this mean the 970 is a 4+1 power phase and the 990x a 8+2 or am i getting this wrong.
