Has anyone put 2 Corsair Neutron XTI (240/480GB) SATA III SSD's in a RAID0?

If so, what were the results and is it a good solution alternative to nvme M.2/U.2 solutions?
(Also, is it okay if i use non-ecc/unbuffered memory or would I NEED ECC/Registered?)
The things I would plan to run on it are:
Games
some game development (not at 4k for either case)
game modding
office/business work
small security program
and basic internet browsing

Solution
RAID0 is only a benefit for large sequential transfers.

On low queue depth random transfers, like that normally encountered in a desktop environment, it ends up being a bit slower than a single SSD.

@USAFRet: No i didn't mean to imply that I would use a 240GB drive and a 480GB drive. I simply was stating the capacity of two drive types I could use. I would have used either 2 240's or 2 480's. (The one thing I always kept in mind with RAID was same disk size for every disk. Otherwise it just goes nope)

OK, just checking.
Many people DO assume it would just add. NOT!
