I just got a new SSD, I have cloned Windows 10 onto it and I want it to boot Windows from the SSD, the old HDD has windows still on it but want to remove it from there? How can I do this?

Test first, before you 'remove' anything
Power off
Disconnect the old HDD
Power up
Does it boot correctly?

If so, then reconnect the old drive and delete ALL the existing partitions, leaving 1 large space.
Format that and give it a drive letter.

Hey thanks for the fast reply!

I have disconnected the old HDD, when I power up it boots straight to BIOS?

And doesn't go into the SSD and Windows?
Then you need to verify the boot order in the BIOS.

What tool did you use to clone this?

Then something is not quite right.
Likely you missed the actual boot partition from the old drive.

I suggest just redoing it.

These are my steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the original boot partitions, here:

-----------------------------

Unless something goes horribly wrong, this works.

I tried to use Macrium Reflect, got Read failed - 13- Broken pipe, i tried to use chkdsk but I got 'Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted.

That would seem to fall under "horribly wrong".
Possibly your HDD is failing, and the Read is failing somewhere.
