Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 vs MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X

Just as stated above: I've narrowed down the purchase of a new graphics card to these two. As well as newegg's black friday deals they are within my budget price.
(This is with rebates in mind)
Gigabyte: $384.99
MSI: 379.99

My main question is, which choice? There is a small difference, but I want to know which choice to go with, in what is better for 1080p gaming, streaming, and college graphic design work.

Everything online has varying results for the two. With MSI being behind GIGABYTE for 1fps, to vice versa. OR MSI getting as much as like 20 to 30 fps difference.

So what is you're guys advice or input? Go to cheaper option or spend the extra dollars?

When it comes to personal experience and preference, MSI Would be my choice without a doubt.
However many people would disagree with me here, but with budget being a large factor in many peoples choice of components, I would most definitely advise you to take the MSI Card.

BUT - If you plan on overclocking this GPU i would then say take the Gigabyte card, from what i can see this card has 3 fans whereas MSI has 2? If so, then definitely spend the lil more cash for the far better overclocking performance!

So - IF you want to overclock alot - GIGABYTE
IF not, then go with MSI - In my opinion!

But don't forget, its all yours, so take into deep consideration, price, looks, and other peoples opinions, but just use your own instincts as well.

Been looking at reviews on both GPU's. Been seeing some reports of audible coil whine on both. Can anyone confirm or explain??
