I only have about 550 dollars right now and am saving up for it, but with the sales, I was wondering which component should I buy first(buying everything off amazon[amazon credit]). It's probably gonna take me a couple of months to get the rest of the amount I need for it, but I was thinking of the cpu, case, and cpu fan since the cpu and cpu fan has a low failure rate. There's no gpu, but I'm planning on getting that later on down the road. I'm not opposed to buying used components.What are some of your thoughts on this? I live in CA, so yay taxes ;-;

I'm looking to video edit a lot. I chose the 6700k since it looks like it's the best on the market price to performance wise. Gaming would also be nice to do on this pc, but not a necessity.

Solution
Save up, components always get cheaper over time, also your build is very unbalanced.
Post again on Black Friday and we'll advise you on what to buy, you typically only want to buy the storage, case, PSU and cooler in advance.
Your component choice is poor and you haven't included a graphics card, what is the purpose of this rig?

oops meant to reply, but which one in your opinion should I buy first? It seems to me that you made a sounder build than I. Which one should I chose to buy first this time around though?
