Hey guys, I'm new to the forums. I've been trying to find a solution via searches and contacting manufacturers. My setup is
CPU- intel I5-4690k
Gpu- MSI GTX 980
Psu-evga 650Gs
Memory- 4x corsair vengeance 8gb
Motherboard-MSI z97-G45
Samsung ssd + 3Tb hdd, corsair liquid CPU cooler.
After about a year of having this, my graphics card randomly went out so I recently got an RMA from MSI. After plugging my new GPU in, I can't get past the windows loading screen (Win 10-64bit), it just freezes. I've tried a fresh install of windows and it works fine up until I download the drivers and all which came from the motherboard disk, then the unit will freeze. I called MSI and they recommended a new PSU, so I tried a Corsair CX750M and it's still having the same issue. Like I said, it works fine up until I download the drivers and all from the boot disk. I've wiped the main drive several times and reinstalled but it hasn't helped me. Please help =(
Oh, I have also tried it in Windows 8 but still no luck there.
