Hard disk VERY SLOW write speed after using partition editor

Hi. I have a Western Digital wd3200BPVT-80JJ5T0. The disc was in "dynamic MBR" mode, with 4 partitions. I wanted to merge the partitions to have 2 partitions. It wasn't possible using the windows partition editor. So I used the EaseUS Partition Master Pro. First thing I did was to convert to "basic MBR". When I click to run the conversion, my pc restart and the windows logo appeared, then I had a black screen for several minutes. I restart my pc because the black screen. Then I start windows and I check the disk with Hard Disk Sentinel and shows a health of only 12% and on the SMART tab shows 500 reallocated sector (before doing the conversion to basic mbr, the disk was perfect with 100% health and 0 reallocated sectors).
After that, I ran a reinitalize surface with Hard Disk Sentinel completed successfully. Then i ran a surface scan and showed all sectors good.
But when I run CrystalDiskMark the disk shows a very SLOW write speed of 3MB/s (before the issue the speed was much faster).
What can I do??

Hi there seb233,

That is really unpleasant. :(

The thing you should really do, is to just back up the important data stored on the drive, until you sort this out.

Could you please provide some screenshots of the SMART reports from the tools that you've already used? You can just upload the screenshots to an image hosting website and post the link over here.

Also, you can run both short and extended DLG tests on it: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=rQyYTv

How old is the drive? Is it under warranty?

Let me know how this goes,
D_Know_WD :)

I don't know about the warranty. It's not a very old disk.

You should back up the data stored on that drive. It has some bad sectors and could become inaccessible at any moment. These are physical flaws on the platter's surface. I'm afraid that this can't really be fixed. Also, I don't think it was caused by the partition rearrangement.

It seems that there's something wrong with your other drive(320 GB) as well. Do you have some bad sectors on it as well?

Cheers,
D_Know_WD :)

The issue was after I restarted my pc during the edition with EaseUS Partition Master. Why the surface scan says no bad blocks? Is there anything I can do to restore the writing speed?
In the wd3200aajs there is no problem with writing speed and the surface scan shows only 1 bad block.
