I'm testing out my internal Seagate HDD and adding windows 7 etc before screwing the thing in the case.

It is on the table, while also the wires are also could be pulling on it a tad since its power wire goes to the DVD reader on a seperate table too.

Is it safe?

Will the parts in a hdd make it jurt all by itself or is it circular? II think the HDD head could since it would move and stop and its force would go to the case in 1 direction, but not really sure.

Hi there ADVANCESSSS,

Well, it would be a better idea to install Win when the drive is tightly fastened in the case.
Yet, I don't really think anything would happen if you do it the way you've described, as gergguy said.
Just make sure the cables will not disconnect in the middle of the process.
