I am not really familiar with PC builds so please help me out.
My current setup:
ASUS H81M-E mobo
8 gb ram
intel hd 4400
generic PSU

So a friend of mine is selling his unused gtx 650 ti 2gb for about 50$. Is it a bang for the buck? The problem is it requires a 6pin cable. My PSU doesn't have one. I need help on what PSU should I buy. I can't afford expensive ones since I have to spend 50$ on the video card.

That should do it for you. $59.99 $44.99 if you do the rebate. You didn't show your CPU show i added a i7 4790 with those items it would be 267W TDP for the system. So if you want to look for your self. Look for a Gold 400 to 550 PSU don't really need anything over 550, no point. The gold is for saving power on AC /DC transfer. Hope this helps.
