Need help deciding how big of a case I need to buy! Also taking recommendations for a Power Supply!

Solution
I can recommend the Phanteks Enthoo Pro, not the "M" which is smaller, the Pro is a medium height case, but it's got a crap ton of nice features like a fan hub and room for a couple nice radiators. I have a 420(3x140mm) radiator in mine and it's a nice fit, plenty of room for that extra little bit on the side for the hoses and such on the AIO CLCs. I haven't used a whole lot of cases, but after this one pretty much if I have to get a new one, it's gonna be one of these. Just super easy to build with and you can take the whole thing apart with screws if you need to move or don't like something very mod friendly. Also, ditch the Sammy 951, wait on the 960 Evo to come out, it'll save you 50$ and get you twice the size + speed bonus.

The size of the case is decided by the mainboard mostly. You are using a standard ATX Mainboard so you need a case that can fit a standard ATX Mainboard. You are going with a H110i Cooler as well so your case should fit a 280 Radiator. Most case specs have a part of Rradiator mounts

Does my build look about right as far as everything I need in your opinion?

A good mid-tower like a Phanteks Enthoo M, Fractal Design R5 or Thermaltake F31 should easily house this equipment.

Personally I find liquid cooling a waste of money in this build. Unless you're going for it because of aesthetics, it serves little purpose as the 6700k can easily be cooled by a 35$ cooler

Unless you're ordering the GPU directly from EVGA don't get a FTW ACX. They got a cooling issue where they forgot a thermal pad. Go with something else instead, like a Zotac AMP, Gainward Phoenix, Asus Strix or MSI Gaming X. Scrap base clocks, all these cards boost to ~2000MHz no matter what they're advertised as.

For the PSU a decent 550W PSU will easily suffice. Take a look around and pick what you get cheapest:
Super Flower Leadex / Golden King
Evga supernova G2 / GS
Corsair RMx / RMi
XFX XTR

If you're already on a budget or don't need modular cabling:
XFX TS Gold
Seasonic G

If those are all still too expensive, Seasonic S12II, XFX Pro / Core or Corsair CXM550 will eventually be alright.

As for your build, J wouldn't spend so much money on a 256GB SSD.
Yes this SSD will most.likely be faster than a SSD that costs half. But does it matter if you scrap 2 more seconds off booting time? You can get a very fast ssd of that size at half the price, heck you can get a decent SSD of that size for 70$
That cash is better saved / reinvested imho.

looks ok mouse, case and psu missing but that was the purpose of this thread i think ^^

BTW: For a PSU i would go with one of the major brands like EVGA, Corsair,.. can't do much wrong there but in this forum there is somewhere a PSU recommendation thread you could take a look there.

What mobo exactly? If you mean the MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon then there should be no problem it's the same

So I was going with the liquid cooling because it warned there was no fan that came with the cpu, and I figured it would be the best since it can be pretty effective and silent, although noise is not an issue, but perhaps I should just grab a single fan for it then? As far as GPU's go, I don't mind going through EVGA the black edition was pretty cool, but wow, the Zotac and the Strix as well as the MSI are all badass. I'm terribly indecisive however so perhaps you could recommend which one is more feature packed for the price? The triple fan on the Strix sets it apart and greatly appeals to me, however the Zotac has what seems to be more RGB features.

well generally a Cryorig H7 will be able to cool the 6700k without a problem
the H5 will be most likely as cool and quiet as the H100i
but if you want to go liquid cooling, do it. it's no harm. Personally I like NZXT's Krakens more than the Corsair AIO, but they are alright.

EVGA are great, but they screwed up there with the FTW ACX. If you're buying directly from EVGA it's fine, otherwise you might get old stock with the defective cooling.

the Strix has 3 fans, but it's 3 smaller ones.
generally whatever is most optically appealing and cheapest will be the best. These cards all perform the same.

Well I wouldn't mind going liquid however considering technically speaking it is a higher risk, should it be entirely unnecessary, I can spare aesthetics for assurance until I can incorporate a custom build, ya know? I also don't see an all black option for the x61/41, do you know off the top if they make them in black?

And how do you feel about this Phantek case? It somewhat summarizes my taste. I like minimalism but I want to be able to be a little "showy" once I get some lighting going. The money saved on the fan could pay for the sexy case.

As for the SSD, I produce music so I figured once I get my fatter HDD to store all the tracks, I could keep the ones I plan to live mix on the SSD for faster access, ya know, hence the thick memory choice.

I just checked that Cryorig h7, and that looks great actually, but should I go with that one or the kraken?

I don't really know. Liquid cooling is nothing I put a lot of time in since I find it redundant for a <130W CPU
It has it's advantages, especially aesthetically speaking.
As for what to go - up to you. The Kraken will be fine. As will the H7. As will be the H100i eventually.

Good cases. Phanteks make good products throughout. If you like a bit of optically flashing looks go for the version with tampered glass side panel.
