Hello Guys!

So I'm getting the GTX 1060 today, and it is PCI-e 3.0 compatible.
I looked into this, and noticed that my mobo (it is an old one, ASRock Fatality Performance P67)
Only has a PCI-e 2.0 X16 slot. I know my CPU (i5-3570k) will not bottleneck the VGA, however I am unsure about the PCI-e slot?
What do you think?

It's not a problem. PCI-E 3 and 2 are backwards compatible, it just means that your graphics card will have a little bit less bandwidth available. You might see a 2 or 3% reduction from a motherboard with PCI-e 3, but it probably won't make a noticeable difference with a card that isn't top-of-the-line.

Coming off of someone who has experience with a high-end card on PCI-E 2.0 (Not sure if the others have, but I'll give you my perspective)

Basically, when I do benchmarks I get the exact same marks as other people with the same/similar builds with a GTX 970.

So yeah, agreeing with the above, there's no difference really, nothing you'll notice, no need to worry!
