Hey, will a A8 5600K bottleneck the GTX980? I mostly play GTAV, Overwatch, Minecraft, BlackOps3 and PayDay2. When it would bottleneck how do i solve it?
Yea it will bottleneck hard in GTA V and BlackOps3 , it will be fine for Overwatch it should get you above 60 FPS on max settings and for Minecraft and PayDay 2 i dont know.

It doable, you'll still get some amazing FPS but the bottleneck will be there.

You can overclock it but it wont give you that much of a performance boost that will reduce all the bottleneck.
Ok.. So wich CPU should i choose? I don't have much money for a CPU so... What would be the best CPU that wouldn't bottleneck but isn't that expensive?
Well at your current platform you cant go much higher it wont be beneficial, any CPU at FM2+ socket that you use atm will bottleneck GTX 980.
Best it would be if you can get something like i5 6500 but that would require around 350$ investment into new CPU,mobo and RAM.
Another solution is to get used parts.I think for decent price you can find i7 3770 and mobo that goes with it and you can keep your current RAM that you use now with this CPU.
Do you already own GTX 980 or you plan to buy it??

Should i stay at my build ?
VazixZ72 :
He should.. It wouldn't be a problem to test it
Well then, it should answer all your question when you test it.
What is your current GPU??
