I would suggest you place both memory module's in the black colored slots(DIMM1 and DIMM 3 I believe). Though your mileage may vary depending on what memory you purchase, and if it is Duel channel memory.

To be honest duel channel memory (which is what you would need to use to take advantage of placing the memory into different DIMM channels) is usually sold in pairs. Right now you can get 8gb of DDR3 1600 (Which is the type of memory your computer supports) for about 45 dollars. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226398

All of the duel channel kits for 8gb are around this range. 44.99 being the least expensive, about 90 dollars being the most expensive you should every spend on memory in this range (Prices go up to 169.99 but you dont need anything close to that)

I was thinking to just buy 1x 4Gb modolus because I already have one. But I guess I wont get duel channel performance even if I plug them in right sockets, and have same frequency(speed). I guess I have to spend $60+ ( imported hardware is costly in my country). Buying one ram moudulas would have saved my money alot. Can you make sure my Hp stock built motherboard supports duel chanel configuration?
Thanks for your time, sir.

Yes your systems motherboard DOES support duel channel. Im not sure if you are going to see a big performace boost from using it though. Typically HP uses bargain basement components, if it is going to be significantly more expensive, you may want to consider just ordering the second 4gb stick and letting it say in single channel configuration. There is also a possibility that your memory modules may function in duel channel mode I cant be sure as its virtually impossible to tell what manufacturer they used when they put the machine together. The spare part numbers will deliver you whatever memory in that range that is cheapest at any given time.
