I recently posted here about my iGPU showing some weird white lines of pixels blinking randomly when watching content in video-players such as VLC. Other than that it seemed to work fine. I have since bought a GPU and now it is fine, so it was indeed the iGPU of the i7 6700K having some issues, I tried re-installing drivers and installing the latest BIOS before deciding to buy a discrete GPU but nothing worked.
My question I guess is, do I have to worry about the other parts of the CPU having issues in the future? It works flawlessly right now with zero issues, but I am still a bit concerned I guess. Is it anything to worry about or is the iGPU completely separate from the rest of the CPU?
