GPU total power consumption

Got a sapphire rx 470 nitro+.

The reading in Trixx says GPU only power draw.
To my knowledge this isn't the total power it uses.

Now let's say the GPU only power usage is 150w.
What would the total power usage be, not the exact number but an estimate?
Does it depend on the Voltage of the gpu itself, memory clock or how much memory is being used?

You are correct in that I don't know how Sapphire coded their software. But my point is -- does it really matter? If you have a power supply that can support the PCIe spec for an 8 pin supplemental power AND the manufacturer says "<175W", then you can exceed the limits the manufacturer has said the card will use so it doesn't have any practical implication.

The Sapphire RX470 Nitro+ has an 8 pin supplemental power plug. The PCIe slot can supply up to 75W and the 8 pin supplemental can supply up to 150W. The card COULD be up to a 225W card. Sapphire's website -- http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?pid=D3B743BC-5311-40E7-9537-43CB10AA150A&lang=eng show that card as "<175W"

The instantaneous power usage of the card depends on many things. The card is continuously self-monitoring to minimize power usage (and heat generation).

Thats a generic response, you do not understand my question.

What i want to know is that if the reading of the "Gpu only power draw" is the reading on the TOTAL graphics card power consumption including the Memory,vrms and the rest of the unit.
