Wifi not working

My computer connects to my house Wifi but it doesn't work. It says no internet where its supposed to say connected. I don't know why it does not work. I have disconnected and connected back but it will not work. I have even tried rebooting my laptop but nothing happends. Does anyone know what to do?

Pull up cmd.exe and type ipconfig and then hit enter. Does the IPv4 show 169.254.x..x?

Still, if he has a separate router, there is a possibly that his ISP may not assist her.

Again, it would be best to know if you could type in that command. If your computer has that 169.254, then that points to the DHCP server.
