Firstly Let me preface this by saying this is my First Build, so I'm not entirely sure of what I'm Doing. Currently when added with the Stock Fans I planning on having 3x 140mm Fans on the Front Panel, 2 x 200mm fans on the Top 1x 140 on the back and attach this 360mm water cooling raidiator setup on the bottom left and possibly 2x 140 at the bottom.

I know this many fans may seem like overkill, but the more fans the cooler right? I also plan on getting this fan controller for the front 3 and top 2 fans. The other fans 3 fans and water cooler will attach into the motherboard.

Most importantly I want the fans to run autonomously as such the fan controller and the motherboard will both be set to automatically monitor and adjust.

What I'm most curious about with this setup are these points.

  • Whether the air Flow in the case will be good?
Whether I need the 2x140 fans at the bottom to allow for good air Flow between itself and the Water Cooler Radiator?
Finally whether the Water Cooler Radiator should even be in the Bottom Compartment?
What are the potential issues of having so many fans?

Sorry this ended up so Long, I've just found this part of the build to be quite complicated.....
Any opinions and advice are welcome, thanks for taking the time. :)

Solution
More fans, the cooler. More fans, the more diminishing returns.

I recommend placing the radiator at the bottom, use only 2 140mm fans on the front panel, and one 140mm at the back. Anything more is just adding to noise, and makes pretty much no difference to temps.
