I'm running 2 OS's on my computer. Win 10 as my default and win 7. i have a 128GB ssd for my win 10 and a 2TB HDD for storage. I hooked up a 500GB HDD and installed win 7 onto that one. Is it possible to have it where my Win 10 wont detect the HDD that my win 7 is on; and when im on my win 7 drive, have it not detect either of the ssd or the 2tb. Making them shut off from each other. My motherboard is an Asus z97-e. The only way i can currently think of this is to manually turn off the sata port through the bios every time i turn it on. but i would rather see if there was an options to just completely separate them without having to go through the bios every time.

Actually your situation is ripe for installing one or more HDD/SSD mobile racks (removable drives) in your desktop PC system, assuming you have one or more available vacant 5 1/4" bays vacant on your PC case. If you're interested in pursuing this so indicate and I'll provide you with some detailed background and my recommendations.
