I'm running windows 10, 64 and can't connect to the internet via wifi or ethernet. Is this because I need drivers? If so which ones? And also would I download the drivers to my solid state or my other hardrive? Thanks for the help! my motherboard is a 7170-AR

Solution
On the Asus website select your operating system from the drop down list, then go to LAN for your ethernet driver.

Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Driver V20.2.3001.0 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit / 8.1 64bit.(WHQL)
Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Driver V20.2.4001.0 for Windows 10 64bit.(WHQL)

Once your internet is working, you can go back to Asus to download other drivers you may need for your motherboard like chipset, audio, vga, usb, utilities, sata, motherboard manual.

Thanks a heap!

Please help!
I have downloaded the driver for the ethernet control thing. After looking up a tutorial I hit run on it and it said that I did not have the right operating system, I am running windows 10 64bit and downloaded exactly what you told me. Is there another way to update the ethernet control driver? Am I doing something wrong?

The file is a compressed zipped folder. Once downloaded to your computer, right click on it and "extract all" to get the normal folder. I guess you'll be saving this on a USB drive on another computer and then transferring it to your computer.
In the extracted normal folder you'll see an Asus setup file. Double click that to run setup.
