Will an Alienware x51 r2 work with a zotac gtx 1050 ti?

So, I've done my research and I know that the gtx 1050 ti fits in my pc, and that I can power it. But when I was watching an installation video, I realized that the gtx 1050 ti has no connecting pins. How does the gpu connect to my pc when it's not connected to the pin connectors? Does the gtx 1050 ti work with my pc if it's not connected, or should I get this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MA62JSZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_g-5nybM42KAT5) which has a connector? Thanks in advance!

Also, I know that the rx 470 is a much better buy for a bit more money, but I can't power it, which is why I'' not going to get it.

that gtx 1050 ti does not need additional power beyond what the slot provides

your case has poor ventilation you should buy a blower style card if possible

Thanks, although I can't get a blower type gpu so I'm going to get the 1050 ti, which is the best card I can power.

if you have the 330w power brick the best card you can power is the blower style gtx 1060

Oh, I do have that psu although I doubt if it's worth it because i have an i3 4150, wouldn't that bottleneck the gpu quite a bit?
