Recomended low cost GPU for dual Monitor/TV setup

Hello all, hoping for a bit of help.

I'm trying to help a friend use her tower to either split or mirror her desktop between a 24in monitor and a 40in TV. She doesn't game at all and is looking for a low price solution. Her CPU does not have an integrated GPU.

Ideally, wants to be able to work on the monitor and then relax and watch movies on the TV. The TV is at most a 1080P and is close to the computer, so cable run would only be 15-20ft around the various desk/shelves, etc. I'm used to specing out GPU's for high end gaming builds, so this one is coming in under what I'm used to looking for. Can anyone recommend a good, quiet, inexpensive card that'll do the trick?

Hi you only need 1 gpu for the dual display monitor/tv the lowest gpu would be the geforce 210 but if you running windows 7 with it it may have issues but the most reliable gpu in my opinion would be the amd hd 5450 it low cost for and it pretty decent they both fan less btw. If you need any other help just msg here.

[If it not a lga 775 cpu single core or an low end amd am3 cpu you should be fine to run 1080p video 4 core amd cpu or an pentium lga 1150 cpu or higher you only need 4 gb ram their no need to upgrade unless you have 40 tabs open]

This is perfect, although she'll need a good CPU ideally over a graphics card, as that's the main workhorse during what you're describing.
How much RAM and what CPU does she have?

1050 might be a bit overkill for a non gaming pc..

Hey guys thanks for the input. Sorry to not get back till now, holidays and all that jazz.

Long story short on the computer, it was a gaming rig my friends son built before his death. So doing any changes is a big deal for her, so I try and keep things to a minimum.

It was upgraded to Win10 during the whole free upgrade, is in a full tower so no need for low profile, budget is pretty much as low as possible but want to make sure its a quality part as I suspect this will be one of the last upgrades this thing see's in its life. I don't have the system specs handy, but its running 8GB of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Quad. The current GPU is the last generation where Nvida required a cable to connect to the motherboard to transmit sound, and it sort of does the job, but its kind of dodgy and she's ready to move on from it.

Ideal card setup would be DVI to the monitor, HDMI to the TV.

I was looking at the 730, just wasn't sure if it had enough umph. Any idea if the 730s run hot? An extra buck for a passive card to reduce yet another fan would be nice.
