So is the cooler useful for the Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB(4x8gb) 3333mhz needed? I know they come with the cooler but I don't really have room for it because of the CPU cooler so I'm asking if I should buy another CPU cooler to have room for the memory cooler.

The PC I'm going to buy has this config:

CPU: Intel Skylake, Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz box
GPU: Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 iChill X3 8GB DDR5X 256-bit
Motherboard: ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
RAM: Dominator® Platinum Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3333MHz C16 Memory Kit
SSD Kingston SSDNow UV400 120GB SATA-III 2.5 inch sau SSD Samsung 750 EVO 120GB SATA-III 2.5 inch
Hard disk Seagate FireCuda SSHD 2TB SATA-III 7200RPM 64MB
CPU Cooler(Aftermarket): Noctua NH-D14
Case: NZXT H440 Matte Black New Edition
PSU: Corsair RMi Series RM650i 650W, 80+ Gold

PS: I'm not going to OC the ram.
PS2: I know that the memory cooler won't have room because of the CPU cooler because I looked up the dimensions of it.

Solution
No, no real need for it, they are more for looks, DRAM doesn't really get that hot ;) I've got a small collection of DRAM fans , I tend to give as gifts for show ;)

How can you answer that question without knowing the temperature the RAM are running at?

My Patriot 2133Mhz DDR4 PVE416G213C4KGY failed. They always ran around 40C.

I purchased Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000 Mhz DDR4 CMD16GX4M2B3000C15.

Set number 1. Module A was always around 40C. Module B was always around 99C.
I lowered ram settings from 3000 down to 2133, but B was up around 89.9C in idle.

I took them back for an exchange at the store.

Set number 2. Module A is around 78C. Module B was is around 60C. I am running at 2133 Mhz.

Is 99C a good DRAM temperature? I wonder if air coolers actually work?
I think that maybe Corsair is using an adhesive tape inside the heat spreaders that acts as a heat insulator?

The Patriots were always cooler and they just had a cheap tin spreader.

Should I take the second set back? Should I buy a cooler?
