Hi all,

Guys I'm from India and I'm looking to buy a laptop/desktop for gaming purpose as I have done some research on this topic but did't come to an conclusion!!

I was about to built the custom gaming pc but the companies such corsair, gskill, logitech which provides pc parts as they don't provide good service in India (Heard from lots of complains for these companines), no doubt they build nice products but whenever their is an issue with the products, their service is poor, lots of people have complained over the internet and suggested to buy a pre-built gaming desktop if possible because laptops have normally heating issues. But I don't have any issue with the laptops if it's work fine!!

So please let me know some of the good products that are available in India with good configuration and in a price range of Rs. 2.5 Lakhs (Rs. 2500 thousands) and I'm looking to buy this product between Christmas and newyear so that I can get some discounts on the products.

So any help would be appreciated and if you find this kind of post already posted somewhere on the internet and if it has been solved you can also share the link over here.

Thanks in advance

Between a laptop and a desktop, i would recommend a desktop any day for gaming.

And pre-built vs assembled, that is no argument, as long as you get the one with good specs.
Definitely get at least a Mini tower, and not a Desktop. The towers can take normal sized video cards, the desktops all require low profile cards and will limit your options. Your video card choices will be limited by the extra power cables available on the PSU. One 6 pin PCIe should be the minimum, but a single 8 pin will run most modern GPUs. This can keep you from having to upgrade this part later. Be aware that the size of monitor you intend to use will impact you budget greatly. If a 720p HD television is what you will be using then a GTX 750/950 GPU will work just fine. If you want good 10180p performance then you should step up to a mid range card and PSU. It's usually a good idea to build ahead a little bit so you don't have to buy again later. But that depends on your actual budget.
